Step-by-step Learn Salsa Dancing Using Virtual Reality

Developer Dance Virtual have revealed their new virtual reality (VR) title, Salsa Virtual. It is designed to help users learn how to dance by teaching them with a virtual dance partner where beginners will become professional dances in no time.

Learn the basics in the comfort and convenience of your own home, and be ready to hit the floor dancing when you try it in the real world.

Salsa-Virtual has been created and designed by experienced dancers and teachers. 

Set to release into Steam Early access in November. Salsa-Virtual will be in early access for about 4-6 months to allow for proper feedback and implementing appropriate changes. The full version will include more interactions with virtual students for practising moves, haptic feedback on the controllers, and refined animations and education materials.

Learn the fundamental movements of salsa, popular Latin partner dances and Learn the basics of the forward and backwards movement, sidestepping, Cumbria step, back breaks, follower’s underarm turn and cross body lead and much more.

Salsa-Virtual will be releasing on November 1st, 2018 into Steam Early Access but currently, there is no pricing information available.

It will feature support for the HTC Vive, Oculus Rift and Windows Mixed Reality headsets.

It does require the use of motion controllers to ensure a user is performing the steps correctly as well.
